He should tank the last 20 games himself, maybe that would sway the Oilers from taking him. Or more than likely they'd just admire him that much more knowing that he's ready to go for next year.

Yak is now -4! The line is now a combined -11. One of the Blues goals was on the powerplay as well.

Oilers heard that the Flames were involved in a 7-2 game against one of the top teams in the West last night, and they thought that didn't sound too difficult.

Hopkins needs some time in the AHL. Him and Yakupov are simply awful.

Thn raises a good question. Where would the oil be with Seguin, Landeskog and Murray instead of the guys they took?

I imagine Seguin's party lifestyle combined with the oilers' lack of discipline would have made him a one-dimensional player making 6m per with tons of off-ice issues. Hall would be a completely different player in Boston and the Oilers would be lamenting picking Seguin. Not sure about the other two.

If they took Seguin and Landeskog they don't get to take Murray. Or they would've ruined them too

He answered a question honestly. Was asked how LA would deal with leafs top line. He proceeded to call them one dimensional, fast but they cheat to try for breakaways.
It was refreshing. And it made me chuckle.

Yes, I'm saying they don't get the third number one pick

Or even Hall, Landeskog and Galchenyuk/Murray/Trouba
Yakupov by far is the biggest mistake. At least RNH may still pan out to be a useful player. Yakupov's value has plummeted since they took him.
