I voted about 50 times today.

I was in Terrace BC years back when they hosted. It's quite the event for a small town.

I've been home sick for the last little while, so I don't even want to admit to how much time I've spent voting for this haha. Thanks for all your help!

I probably voted 100 times yesterday. I wish I had remembered to vote sooner, I could've voted 100 times/day.

Wow, the roof collapsed from heavy snow AND a fire - those poor people can't catch a break!

As per the Herald, Sylvan Lake will be hosting a Flames vs Coyotes pre-season game in September for Kraft Hockeyville.

Definitely will be making the drive up for that!

http://www.calgaryherald.com/news/al...239/story.html

CBC has it as well in case the Herald pops up the subscription thing: http://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/nhl/...ille-1.2599783

This is awesome.

We were down in a mini-tourney in Calgary with my daughter's team, an end of the year trip.

We all got together and watched the broadcast.

It was awesome after it was anounced. Kids and parents hugging, high fiving, just awesome.

I am very interested to see how the allow access to tickets.

This might not be popular, but I hope they allow Sylvan residents right of first refusal on tickets. I reckon it will also be played in Red Deer.

So this all kicked off this Sunday.

We had a great time down at the lake. Got our picture taken with The Cup, this time my son stood at under 2 feet from it.

Met, talked to & got photos/autographs from Rhett Warrener and Jamie Macoun. It was very busy and it was nice to stroll around and see folks we knew.

Last night both my son and daughter went to practices put on by NHL alumni. They both won them. Really good time, and the guys were great with the kids.

Wednesday morning, we are going to head down to the rink to see the Flames arrive (although my son is concerned he will be late for school). Then we will be at the outside celebrations to watch the game with some other families.

For anyone on this board that cast even one vote, thank you.
