That was the Stempniak family, who also happen to be extremely close friends with the Stajan's. Which unfortunately can't help either family with the timing.

Wow. Through everything this guy has been through since coming to Calgary, the demotions, the bad seasons, the critics, he's always shown up and played 110 % hockey while being a community guy for the city of Calgary. Can't imagine the sorrow for them right now, that pic of the two during Feb olympic break was really nice. All the best to the Stajan's and their family right now, take as long as you need Stajan.
