There was speculation this morning that Boston might be interested in Butler for added depth.

I hope it happens. I want to see this place explode if Butler ends up parading the Cup around the Garden ice.

As long as he's off this team I will be happy. Will even cheer for him in Boston.

Butler would work well as a depth player in a place like Boston. Also, Calgary (with the role they have him in) wouldn't really miss him for the remainder of the season. Gives players like Smith an opportunity to re-establish themselves as worthy of a roster spot going forward.

Schlossman ‏@SchlossmanGF 20m
Corban Knight to make his NHL debut tonight for the Calgary Flames against the Ottawa Senators

Covers UND. Maybe there's something to it or maybe he's just reading into things.

Pat Steinberg @Fan960Steinberg
Corban Knight and Max Reinhart both expected to play tonight. No Galiardi on the ice, sounds like he may have been hurt on Monday. #Flames

Pat Steinberg @Fan960Steinberg
Jones (upper body) and Stajan (personal) also out tonight.

The Heat are gonna struggle with these two, Granlund and Ortio out of the lineup...

Knight, Reinhart, Granlund, Monahan, Backlund, Buoma, Brodie and Ortio starting in net makes this team much more interesting to watch.

The Heat have already fallen in the standings after the first few callups. They were 1st in the west for a while. Are they even going to make the playoffs without Knight, Reinhart, Granlund, and Ortio?

The difference between 1st and 5th (where the Heat currently are) in the Western Conference is 5 points.

Heat are still 10 pts up on Milwaukee who have the 8th spot.

They will make the playoffs.

Both in tonight, with McGrattan.

Galiardi hurt himself in the gym yesterday. Jones of course is injured, and Stajan still with his wife
