As part of Canadian Forces night at Rexall, the soldiers watched Oiler practice and listened to a speech by Eakins.

Does that violate the Geneva Convention?

Hall skates full speed with the puck, enters Senators zone, loses puck, slowly skates back to his own end x 100

he did an interview today on 630 ched and when asked what the coach was working on with them, he said morale and stuff. when asked how the oilers were going to get better, he said that he couldn't ever see himself as a player that plays on the rails, and he and the rest of the oilers had to just do what got them there. on asked about trades, he said that they had a great room and didn't want to see anyone go.

by themselves, pretty harmless comments. combined with BM's comments, this doesn't seem like a player that is playing to keep the coach, or change his game. he will never play for canada nor would i ever take him with the first 2 comments.

I don't think it's Scrivens - thought they said it was Fraser or something

Edit: never mind, my bad

The Oilers are lucky if they win this one. So many chances have trickled through the crease that easily could have gone in with a bit more speed on the puck.

Are the Oilers going to find a way to blow this?

Bobby Ryan was benched tonight for a bit. Ended up with only 14 minutes of ice.

Won a lot of money betting on Edmonton tonight.

They always tend to play well against Eastern teams that tend to trade chances with them instead of pulverizing them like the West.

Too bad they're stuck in the Pacific division, don't even see them getting out of last place in that division for many years ahead.

Also, keep taking the under in every single Vancouver canucks game. It's guaranteed money.

Good to see Carolina win... they were sinking to the bottom quickly, was starting to get worried they'd drop into the bottom 5 draft pick race.

Great OOT! Everything went our way for draft position except for the Panthers losing to the Bruins.

I spent $12 bucks on 3 Proline tickets.

Won a $5 dollar ticket taking Columbus/Pittsburgh/Edmonton and won $30.30.

However, betting on the Canucks on a $2 ticket to win cost me $17.04 on a Canucks win/over Lighting,Blues/over Red Wings,Devils, haha.

The surprise of the night for me had the Hurricanes beating the Sharkies 3-2 in OT. Harrisson scored the GWG with 42 seconds left. The Bruins took care of the Panthers 4-1, Tim Thomas played well in the loss facing 38 shots. The Avs beat the Bhawks 4-2 in Chicago. The Avs are just 3 points back of 2nd place in the western conf! The BJs are looking good winning 4-2 over the Stars. The Coyotes win over the hapless Canucks 1-0. Mike Smith with the 23 save SHUTOUT. Can't believe the Oilers won, 3-2 in reg time over the Senators. The Jets lose a point, 3-2 in OT to the Islanders. The Penguins beat the Predators 3-1. Crosby assisted on all 3 goals.
