Nope. I don't believe Conacher was as valuable last year at this time as Baertschi was. And Baertschi is clearly more valuable now.

We won't ever know what OTT would have demanded from us for Bishop. To say they would have demanded Baertschi is quite presumptuous.

Surprised O'Brien wasn't put on waivers so far. Maybe Burke thinks he can trade him with some salary retention?

Its funny how Scott Gomez went from being a player being paid 6-10 million dollars and being a decent player too making 700,000 and being placed on waivers. Has anyone been claimed yet?

What else did we have this time last year that compared to what Conacher was doing? It was a bad read by Ottawa to take Conacher, but they clearly were looking for young scoring talent. We didn't exactly have much to offer.
