LOL at the Chinese women going for the finesse hit and roll instead of drawing to anywhere in the house to win their match vs. Sweden.

Never give up! Never surrender.
Easy for me to say though... I already slept, just got up early.

Can we go back to the start of the Olympics when we were winning everything?
No Canadians in the final of the men's 1000 or women's 1500.

That was cool to see. Russia wins gold/silver in men's 1000m... building explodes with celebration.

Wow, crazy ending to the men's curling game against Great Britain.
Canada missed their final shot in 9, which would have scored 2, and they settled for one. They went into 10 with Canada up 1 and Britain with the hammer. Britain missed their final shot in 10, which would have scored 2 and given them the win. When the rocks stopped rolling, Canada was shot stone and won the game by 2.
Both Canada and GBR are now at 5-2 and tied for third behind the 6-1 China and Sweden. Canada has two games left in the round robin. Both are tomorrow, first they play the USA in the morning (tonight at 10pm MT), and China in the evening (8am MT tomorrow).

Morrison with bronze.
Also nice to see the Americans, some who have their old suits after blaming pathetic perfomances on the new suits, still stink it up.
Apparently the US training was at altitude and outside.

USA trains at The Utah Oval near Salt Lake City. It's an indoor oval and has the fastest ice in the world.

That may be the home training track, but at some point in the leadup, they trained outside, at altitude.

There were other possibilities. The U.S. team trained at higher altitudes on an outdoor track in Collalbo, Italy, with ice conditions different from the track in Sochi.

Lulu Lemon should sponsor them.
I think the group of drunken Scotsmen who were first to heave a boulder down a frozen loch would be pleased to see how far the game has come.
