That is brutal and he should be suspended for a couple games. Pretty dumb thing to do. The worst thing is that Burrows could be a really effective player if he didn't make a sideshow out of himself with the diving and this crap. That gets lost when he starts to be an idiot.

See my post above. Burrows can't be effective without this crap. Torts outlaws diving, and Burrows can't even be engaged in the game very often anymore.

I'm gonna go all WHERERUCHRISOSULLIVAN and say that Burrows is out of the NHL in 3yrs.

Bought out this summer,
Signed to a two year show me
Bought out again then

^^doing it haiku style!

No, a much as I hate him I think he'll have a job in the NHL for quite some time. He is in a slump but he is a good role player when he isn't playing like an idiot. Burrows the player is a good hockey player.

That said, Avery was a crappy teammate. In Dallas (for half a season) he wouldn't even join team huddles in practice for coach's instructions. He just skated around aimlessly. By all (dxxxxxbag) accounts burrows is a good teammate(at very least).

Too funny, the guy literally can't help himself and stop his inner coward coming out. It's actually hilarious.

Burrow's the player has lost a step and isn't a smart enough player to make up for it in other ways.

Maybe there's a professional ball hockey league in Outer Northern Mongolia that will sign him up and remove his stench from hockey forever.

That may be. But at a certain point, it would be pretty hard to back a guy like that.

But teams still sign Matt Cooke. I think jaarko Ruuttu is out of the league, but he had a long career. And Avery got a tonne of chances. But, I stand by my prediction. Burrows is out of chances by 2017! And still getting Canucks pay checks till 2020!

Burrows and the Biebs also have a boot####able face.

no goals, just 5 assists all year. Maybe you should be pulling your own hair out for being downright useless.

This guy should be thanking God every single night he got to play with the Sedins in their prime, otherwise he'd be pulling these stunts in the AHL. One of the least likeable hockey players ever on a team that is full of them.

you are very kind. I'm not sure these levels of antics could survive in the ahl; remember when he went off in that beer league? I think he also benefitted from being on a team that had a couple of less savoury antics type players and he fit right in. when you are the only one doing this stuff, burrows becomes way more of a focus for the other team.

completely agree on his luck with the sedins.

He has to quit this stuff cold turkey, but as we see, he can't.

Couple of quick notes.

Burrow's is very liked in the dressing but I would say only this dressing room. Not sure how well he would fit in around the league. Not held in high regard outside of the canucks.

Burrow's was a very good player. I actually thought his best season was when him and Kesler were paired on a line, year before he got bumped up to play with the sisters.

With that said he sucks now! Lost more than a step and seems unable to make up for it with smart play. Doesn't help that the Sedins play has dropped off dramatically.

Hate the hair pulling. As low as you can go. I would be so ashamed and embarrassed to do that or play with someone that did that. But you know, I have a soul.

Aside from these past few games I thought Burrows was playing well this year, but just wasn't getting any puck luck. He has looked awful these past few games, just like most Canucks. You can tell that his face shield is bothering him and hopefully for us Canucks fans he can at least regain some of his form after it gets taken off.
