A few months ago, myself and other members of the Calgary Sledge Hockey community were invited to film a commercial for the Canadian Paralympic Committee. It was a great experience filming part of an amazing campaign like this. Wishing the boys (Team Canada Sledge) and all the Canadian athletes good luck in Sochi!! Proud to be Canadian!!! (I can be seen at 0:44 playing the part of dejected sledge player #12, blue uniform).

Does anyone know where I could find the Bud Greenspan documentary of Vancouver? I have looked all over but can't seem to find it. TIA

While I was particularly fond of the Larissa Yurkiw story, the recovery of Brianne Tutt has to be the best feel good story of these games for Canada.
13 months ago she looked like this, not sure if she would be able to talk never mind skate:
and now she's in the Olympics (deaf in one ear and chronic neck pain be damned). A local (Airdrie) to boot. She's a ####ing trooper that's for sure.

And people say there are no good female role models in the world.
Not a big fan of Francis but he gets it right in this:

Here's the original Russian Police video (not from the Olympics, but the same performers):
