I was watching the cut line, and at one point there were 74 guys under the line because they were within 10 of the lead.

Then BUBBA happened, and the cut line moved from +6 to +3 and we are back to the top 50 plus ties.

Amen corner is what? 11 12 and 13? GDL played those in -1 for the two rounds. It was the rest of the course that caused problems for him.

I thought I was seeing things when I turned on the TV and saw Weir at -2.

Great to see. Hope he can keep it up.

Weir is in the top 10, Mickelson is probably going to miss the cut. Golf is pretty wildly unpredictable come major time.

Yeah, going to be weird having no Phil or Tiger in a Masters 3rd round.

Kinda cool though, I like unpredictable tourneys, especially if a Canadian is in the mix!

I think the cut line may move one more. It will only take a few more guys to have tough rounds and there are a bunch on the course. That would bring Luke Donald, Phil and Sergio back for the weekend.

Need 5 players to move to +5 for that to happen.

Only 3 more now, but I can only really see 2 falling that far. The round is winding up.

I was thinking Oleson and McIlroy might drop, but Simpson would hold. It would be bad luck for BOTH Simpson and McIlroy to give away those strokes.

Bit of a meltdown by Bubba, but he can bomb the ball like few others so i see him sticking around for sure.

Spieth is just too young to win this thing....isnt he?

I will be cheering for Rickie Fowler myself....good young player who has really matured the last year or so. (with a caveat that if Freddy can get into position...he gets my FULL support)

Best story from Saturday? McIlroy playing with a club member who served as a marker...and the marker shooting a better score than Rory...lol.

Read an article on this guy. Augusta member who's been marker since like 2002. Holds club record for a member (61 or 62) and has beat over 50% of the players he plays against when being the marker

Rooting for Jiminez today. Pretty amazing that there are two 50+ players in the top 10 heading into the final round. Couples is looking for his 4th straight top-15 after turning 50. With the talent of guys like Tiger and Phil, and them getting older, and the quality of the equipment and technology it seems like a matter of time before we get a 50+ major winner.

No love for Matt Kuchar? One of the best players to never win a major and it would be a very popular pick in the golf world. That's who I'm rooting for today.

So many players in contention that I would love to see win- Fowler, Spieth, or Jimenez would be awesome. Of course Couples too, but that would be the biggest surprise of the four I think. His back just seems to give out by Sunday.

Westwood's window for a major is closing fast.

Spieth plays seven holes nearly perfectly and in two holes loses four shots. If Bubba gets to 13 with this lead he could run away with it.
