A wash overall with Nashville potentially coming out on top if Del Zotto can become consistent. Klein is a steady two way guy who isn't having the best season. Wonder how he'll do outside of Nashville now.

For some reason, I keep thinking Del Zotto is a LW.

Really like this trade for Nashville. Despite having abundance of offensive minded and puck moving defensemen they get a left handed shot they needed. I think his defensive shortcomings will be better hidden on a team like Nashville until he develops them better, seeing as he's only 23.

Both teams have pretty enviable defence cores... this trade should work out well for both teams. I see Klein as the safer bet right now, but Del Zotto undoubtably has the potential.

You'd think Del Zotto would have more value than Klein, but never underestimate the value of a solid Right Handed defenceman I suppose.

I'd give tha slight advantage to the Rangers in this trade. They get a more proven and stable D man in their rotation while giving up a huge question mark to do so. The trade could easily fall into Nashvilles favor later on if MDZ can ever figure his game out but as of now the Rangers look like the winner.

Benefit to the Preds though is they can afford to add another smaller D-man to their back end. With Ellis being the only other smaller guy.

With the depth and track record of developing D I don't doubt Nashville will come out ahead, in due time, on this deal.

With Weber, Josi, Del Zotto, Jones and Eliis they are pretty stacked.

I wonder if Ellis will be trade bait for some offence up front?

I like this more for the Preds than the Rangers.

Weber, Jones, Josi, Del Zotto is a very nice top 4

With Rinner out and MDZ's defensive play, there will be scoring and lots of it. They're not better defensively after today.

I also like this trade for both sides. Nashville seems like as good a place as any for Del Zotto to find his game and meet his potential.
