Huge banner ad popped up DURING PLAY for McCain pizza. Which I won't be buying for quite a while now because of it

Somehow, the Flames are responsible for 2 of those.

Good game to watch, nothing to rant about, not a lot to rave about. Russell looked good for his first game back.

I have been one of the posters on here that wouldn't mind him getting traded (Unless he signed a great salary/term deal), however, he looked very solid in his first game back tonight.
Hopefully he keeps its up.

SN is truly an awful station. The NHL will be begging for TSN after they see these clowns on a regular basis. These guys ruin games.
Like who the eff puts an ad that blocks the view of the game when the puck is in the offensive zone?

Anyone have a clip or screenshot of the add? I watched the game, but missed the ad.

Why? Blame SN, not McCain.

^Ad during a telecast would cost more than one during regular commercials, they knew what they were doing. Not that me not buying their pizza makes a difference. Blame SN too

But it's just a steady encroachment towards utter advertising hell. Reluctant acceptance is what Rogers wants, and once it becomes the norm, they will find a new way to advertise. That's why I decide to react with indignant outrage rather than mild annoyance.

Thought Monohan was one of the better Flames out there. You can already see the huge steps he's made in his game when you compare him today with that first California trip in October when he seemed to be a bit overwhelmed.

The fact that we have lost 11 out of the last 13 is dismal.

Yet, when they finally win one, someone will complain about people being happy for the win.

I think Colborne has been more noticeable on the wing. Maybe that is a good spot for him?

No, what's even more dismal is the amazing 4 year build Oilers are STILL behind the Flames in points. STILL.

As someone who is secretly cheering for losses to improve our draft position this year. That was a perfect game. Entertaining close game where they didn't give up. No issue with that loss at all!
