What's going on in here. Someone trying to say others are responsible for someone else's behaviour. Typical reaction these days, all ways someone else's fault, no one is ever responsible for themselves.

Honestly, I'm not the biggest fan of fighting either (especially when it's staged) but it was impossible not to be glued to that game and be entertained. I don't think Ive seen that lively of a game thread since 2004, and during a pretty boring stretch of hockey over the last month, it was welcome.

Sure, if it happened every game, it would be making a mockery of the sport...but it's a rare one off event that brought some spark back into a rivalry.

Not necessarily. A lot of people here have met or done business with other members of CP, and honestly I think that face to face contact makes them much more civil to each other. Knowing who you are talking to, or at least acknowledging that there's an actual human on the other side, can go a long way in making sure people act a little more civil.

I just want that "tough to play against" moniker back. I would love if teams would look at the calendar and groan seeing the flaming C like they used too.

I have the same opinion as TTC about the start of last game. The response was the typical "pull up your skirt" and "go watch basketball". I expected the juvenile responses and knew further comment wasn't going to go anywhere so didn't bother posting anymore. TTC didn't take the hint unfortunately.

I've been on this forum for a while and noticed that, even though I've been a Flames fan since '86, it's simply not worth pushing against sacred ground. I'm not a fan of McDonald, Iginla, or Maher but voicing those opinions ad nauseam will do nothing but get me attacked. Sometimes you just have to realize the environment you're in and bite your tongue.

Someone told him to log out and take a break away from the computer, and he said he was trying to,? and I was like wtf? trying to? Is someone bullying him into hanging out and participating in the GT?

Has anyone confirmed Tortorella and TurnedTheCorner are not the same person. Their simultaneous meltdown is.. suspicious.

Oiler fan then? Cause I honestly can't understand it otherwise.

Dude should have stepped away from the keyboard for a bit. He was making a fool of himself and just kept going and kept going.
