There were no referees there and they weren't exactly watching HNIC in their dressing room. No reason at all to expect Tortorella to be tossed. He will be fined though.

If it had to be anyone to win for the Canucks, I'm fine with it being Higgins.
Good game, hopefully more to come with a Torts interview.

I would say that's been his best game as a Flame.

Awesome game. Deep down I knew the Flames would lose, but what a ride it was. Even in a losing game like this, Flames have a ton to be proud of.
Team toughness
Full effort all night
Solid goaltending
Hartley/coaching staff being bosses
Torts going to get suspended/fined
Brodie/Wideman playing career high minutes
Flames went down swinging and outworked the better team tonight. Games like this will make the rebuild worth it and result in a solid foundation to build from.

Hartley isn't totally without blame, but it says a lot about Tortorella's character when he chooses a comparable line in that situation, bitches about the result, and then goes after the Calgary staff by the dressing room.

What does Friedman think happens if Henrik takes the faceoff? Westgarth jumps him? BS. Nothing happens and the game begins as per normal

Both deserve blame, and Friedman and Stock are both being melodramatic.

They still will bring in those rentals. I had a Canuck fan lecture me for 10 mins how Santorelli will turn the team around and Tortarella will only play his youngest players and understands that their the canucks god send to win . His actual words.
