Monahan finished 9-11 for faceoffs for 82%. Stajan on the other hand went 1-9. Ouch.

No confidence for the first 50 minutes. Finally found it again in the last 10, but too little too late. Already been said a lot, but Backlund was the best Flame tonight. Also loved that Cammalleri went after Bortuzzo after the captain was hammered like that. Didn't love his cross-check later, but I also understand where he was coming from.

A month ago Stajan was playing his best hockey as a Flame, he's currently playing his worse.

Pretty much, and same could be said for Cammalleri, but at least he finally woke up late in this one. Stempniak looks like he's getting good chances again. Won't be long until he's on one of his famous hot streaks.

Best game of the year for Backlund...amazing what a bit of confidence can do! Cammy was utter crap for the most part and is easily the goat. Thought Butler had a good game as well.
