Mac Hall, really? Why not the Jube, bigger and better for a popular comedian, imo.

Canada is still relatively new for him, so I guess he wanted to see how he did here first before he went to bigger venues. I imagine if this tour performs well (which it should) he'll be back in bigger auditoriums

I guess so, it just seems like things should be different in the digital age we live in now. Canadians are just as connected to the latest and hottest comedy acts as Americans, it's not the 90's.

I would imagine if you took 100 people from Calgary and 100 people from Seattle and said "Do you know of Bill Burr? Would you go to his show?" The numbers would be similar.

Just bought mine; I've been waiting for Bill to come to Calgary for a year now, super stoked. And it's only six weeks away!

Just picked up 2 tickets but haven't decided who I should ask to come see it with me. Not sure I can sell the girlfriend on Bill Burr...

He was here a few years ago, at Mac Hall in fact. I hope he comes back, but right now I think Bill Burr is more on his game than Louis. I can't wait for the show!

It's been a long time since I've been to Mac Hall. A bit worried about rush seating. Are there really crappy seats where you can't see the stage? Is there a seating chart anywhere online?

I grabbed 2 tickets as well. Looks like half the audience will be CP.

I've never been to Mac Hall when they had seats. It's just a big empty room with a stage. I am guessing it's just folding chairs?

If they arrange it properly and don't oversell then sight lines should be alright, but not great.

Sweet, got two tickets.

Folding chairs eh? Guess the gf will have to bring a phone book... Anyone know what the sight lines are like in an event like this?

I went to Q radio live with Jian Ghomeshi at Mac Hall last year and it wasn't too bad in terms of sight lines, if I remember correctly.
