Hate Phoenix games in general but that was beyond painful to watch.

Since that beauty of an effort against St. Louis where we tied er up late and won in a shoot out, this team has really mailed it in......except for the last game against the Avs that is.
We were always terrible talent wise, but I wonder what happened to make the effort go away so suddenly like that.

If they lose 6-4 we would be like, meh at least they score goals. They just need a couple D and a goalie...
But this is crazy.
They owe tha fans more than this.
Lay off the win now pressure (Hartley) and just tell them the season is a try out for next year.

@TH2NSTATSGUY: The Islanders have scored as many goals in the last 29 hours as the Flames have in the last 17 days.......(12)

Exactly what I am wondering. If managers can't answer this internally at The Flames then heads should roll.

I don't think you do. I'm with you though, a lot of these players need to go.
Cliff Fletcher would never make a trade during a losing skid. Why deal from a position of weakness?
Right now, if you want to shake up the team I think calling up 2 or 3 guys from the Heat or even canning the coach might be better alternatives.
Gelinas as interim coach?

Yeah, well the Islanders are still only 3 points ahead of us in a terrible conference with 2 more games played. So whatever.

They are a lot younger and way more skilled team. They are figuring it out and maturing.

I got this feeling the shoe is about to drop and you can tell by how they players are on the ice. Heck, even the kids aren't showing the exuberance they were during the first bit of the season. BUrke is not a patient man. And he will pull the trigger after being shut out this many times in as many games. And this one was awful tonight.
