It's a shame Burke isn't there to tell it like it is regarding Taylor Hall. He's a good player, but right now he is just not Team Canada material right now. But with K Lowe and other Oiler scum in Yzerman's ear I honestly think he has a good shot to make the team.

With the Islanders winning, the Flames are now in the 3rd spot overall. I don't like the fact that the Flames are not performing well, but I would really like for us to get a top 3 pick this year. It would make having to endure this year's team semi bearable. I'm sure that once some of the vets are moved in the next few weeks, it'll become even more difficult to accumulate points, which means that we'll likely end up either last or second last once it's over.

Yakupov makes it 4-1. Celebrates like he just scored the tying goal.

Not a chance he should make it. One dimensional whiner.

In his last 8 games, Brian Elliot is 7-1 with 2 shutouts and a 0.941 sv %.

Halak, in his last 8 games has gone 4-4 with a 0.885 sv % getting pulled twice.

Does Elliot start getting more starts now?

Nailed it.

Elliot might be the most hot and cold guy in the league. This is not the first time he has done this, the problem is, he can't be relied to keep going like this and when it ends, it ends badly.

I firmly believe halak will be on the move.

You're probably right. Elliot has pretty much played out of his mind all season going 10-1-2 but still hasn't been able to take the starting role from Halak. I wasn't so sure the Blues needed Miller, but maybe they end up trying to get him from the Sabres.

I think it was Hall but could be mistaken.

Pretty sure it was Hall - he's just giving Terry Jones more reasons to write another article about why Hall should be on Team Canada, LOL

Hopkins, Hall and Perron a -3 each. Disasters in their own zone.
