Only relevance with the team and an orca whale is diving.

Vancouver is known for whale watching especially orcas. Makes sense to me

Not to mention the First Nations history in the area and the symbolism the orca has for their culture.

is there any other pro sports team with more stupid colours and stupid logos than the stupid canucks?
maroon, green, blue, gold, black, white.
lumberjack, orca, skate, hockey stick.
they've got more colours and logos than edmonton has ass-captians.

Same company owns the Canucks, it just changed its name from Orca back in 2008. Always been a bad logo, suited for a bad organization. Celebrate your awful roots IMO.

I've been out and about, and somewhat absent, for the last couple of games. Feels good to be able to settle in and get ready to enjoy a game. Early dinner is done, beer is cracked, NFL games are winding down. Hope to see a great effort from the guys tonight.

I don't even feel like throwing out a prediction. I just strongly dislike the Vancouver Canucks and that's all I'm going to focus on in tonight's game, let's go Flames!

Henrik Sedin took a puck off the face in warmup. Game time decision. Per Peter Maher.

Looking forward to Monahan finally getting more than 10 minutes tonight. Too bad David Jones is there to contaminate that line..

“@SUNRandySportak: #Flames Backlund apparently good to play. Granlund's NHL debut will be another day. Smith in on defence for Breen, too.”

I hope Backlund is truly okay to play and isn't trying to play through an injury to prove something to somebody.
