I hope Jay-Bo gets a color commentator gig after he retires. This man is all personality and his post-game interviews are chock-full of juicy golden nuggets with spitfire emotion.

Jbo honestly looks like he belongs on a sunday morning nature show, pulling insects out of holes, fishing in the yukon, and promo vids of him peering out at birds flying in slow motion through binoculars with an awkward half smile of satisfaction on his face.

Surprisingly, the Flames have continued to keeping the games close. they are making teams earn their win. We haven't really been blown out this year, the only problem is we don't know how to close out a game.

The 5-1 and 7-3 losses to Dallas were ugly, but yeah, 3rd periods have been an issue.
If Breen gets more than limited/sheltered minutes, then Hartley's gone off the deep end again.
On a side note, Kristen Hallet always looks/sounds like she just woke up from a massive bender. Someone get her a lozenge or something.
Welp, looks like I just acquired some seats in the 213 section row 18. If you are at the game come say hi. I am pretty easy to find, what with all the hair and the heritage classic jersey.

Well besides the Dallas ones... But December has been a pretty good month with us keeping the games very close. Not only that, but the Flames have always been slow burners lately when it comes to their play in the season. We always seem to play better in the next year and miss the playoffs. I hope we don't end up in the middle, where we lose a good draft pick and also miss the playoffs. That would be a double whammy.
Ouch. Glencross, eight weeks with a high ankle sprain. Russell, 4-6 weeks out with a MCL sprain.
Blair Jones out indefinitely torn miniscus. Wideman upgraded to week to week.
Really sucks to lose glencross and Russell for so long... Hope the flames can grit out a win. Galliardi will have a chip on his shoulder and could be a difference maker tonight.
I could see the flames being really inspired to show how much better they are than the oilers by going toe-to-toe with one of the best teams in the league and pulling out a win.

Ouch indeed! It's a good thing that this is a rebuilding year...on the bright side, it gives management and coaches to evaluate players in the minors
