It was clearly a penalty but should have been 2 mins that's it.
Not close to a suspension in anything other than the garbage IIHF tournaments.

Karlsson is limping out and you think a 2 is enough? Wow.

They usually do start slow true, but they haven't won the tournament in years anyhow, so, woopdiedoo.

Him limping or not should have nothing to do with how much of a penalty it is or isn't.

A whole 4 years. Oh no whatever will they do? Or that's right they will keep dominating Euro trash teams like they always do.
But nobody cares about this tournament except Canadians, and Euros who run their mouth when Canada is losing.

Sutter has a tremendous track record with the WJ team, but I do not like the makeup of this team at all.
Where is the speed to generate a forecheck and set the tempo (the way Canada usually plays)?
This team looks like the 2010-2012 Flames - try to make plays in slow motion and when it doesn't work, try it again.

that knee totally deserved 5 minutes by the way, and my guess is 3 or 4 games.

I'm not sure Dumba would have made this team if he wasn't Brent's player.

But it indicates how bad the tackle was doesn't it? But I guess your objective eyes can tell better than the referee and the result of the tackle. Hopefully it's just a bad bruise though.

the knee was dirty. Moon in threads about Canada, you come off pretty homer-ish. Not sure you're able to objectively make determinations with international hockey.
Knee stuck straight out. Dirty. Canada will be fine, they need to up the tempo and then they'll be good.

No it doesn't indicate that at all. Because two inches higher maybe he hits his pad and the kid is fine, or maybe the kid is tough and skates it off.
The punishment should be based on what Dumba did not whether or not the kid he hit was hurt or not.

He made the Minnesota Wild at the start of the year hard to see anyone leave off a NHL level guy from the roster.
Unless Brent made them take him on their roster.

Well to me it both looked dirty and ended with an injury so..
First news from the team doctor says he's "probably ok" though.

I'm not the one here bragging about the skill of "my" country all the time, also moon trashing the Euros all the time. He's the Don Cherry of this forum.

So you think other coaches would have left off a guy that made the NHL this year because you haven't liked what you saw in 2 pre-season tournaments?
A guy that was a invite to the camp last year and dominant at the U-18's?
