Ekblad blast!
Massive, right handed shooting d-man...Come on Burkie, work your "Pronger/Sedin" magic at the draft.

On the other side, I think Teravainen has been Finland's best forward. The guy has a crazy fast release, and 2 posts so far.

This game would probably be a blowout if Drouin's line was playing

Ekblad is Canada's most noticeable defencemen out there. Well, Dumba is more noticeable, but usually for the wrong reasons, though he had a MUCH improved 2nd period (and not just offensively, but all-around), though I still see him making mistakes out there. Pelech is better than I thought.
Still not impressed with Gauthier. He looks very clumsy to me.
McDavid and S.Reinhart - still Canada's most outstanding players. I do think Horvat adds to that line, but those two really stand out for all the right reasons.
Will be interesting to see if the trio continue to impress this much throughout the tournament (McDavid, Reinhart and Ekblad).
Petan is a great player out there. I can see why the Flames invited him to camp. Great hands and IQ, very quick skater, and he goes to all the dirty areas with regularity.
I thought Shinkaruk would be doing better out there, but it looks like (based on the first 40 minutes) he will be cut. He is not strong enough defensively, and isn't standing out offensively in the least. Though I don't like him as a prospect much, but I did expect him to be much more of a threat offensively than he is showing thus far.

Mantha was way too casual on that first breakaway, then gets the puck again, goes down the wing and scores. Nice recovery.

Gives me a little (vicarious) buyer's remorse when I compare him to Janko.

Shinkaruk has been awful. I don't care what Canucks fans say if he's injured... if he's hurt, he shouldn't be playing.
Very slow and not going to the corners.

Already mentioned but Petan was drafted by the Jets, Linden Penner was the player invited to camp.

I think he's talking about the private draft camp they had with Monahan, Poirier, Klimchuk and Petan.

RT @coreypronman: Woops forgot USA's 4th line: DiPauli-Shore-Samuelsson.

Petan was one of four players invited to Calgary for their pre-draft mini-combine (along with Monahan, Poirier, and Klimchuk). I assume that's what Calgary4LIfe was referring to.
