The Flames military style caps look sharp once again. Hope these end up at the FanAttic this time.

Great job boys! Missed most of the game on TV as I was driving to hockey...but man... Peter Maher still calls a good game.

Sven does look a little weak out there. He's ok if he has some space, but in close battling for the puck he seems to get manhandled and fall down, or lose the puck and start circling.

It seemed to work wonders for Blair Jones, but maybe an extended stint in abbotsford is what Sven needs. Can't really see him "developing" in the NHL right now, no matter how much ice time he gets.

Solid team effort tonight. They didn't let the slow start snowball and Karri Ramo made all the saves he needed to make.

Great game! I hate the Coyotes.

B Jones and Byron were great on the PK. Byron was good overall, actually.

Put Backlund with some linemates who have skill and look what happens …

Baertschi had a lot of jam but no real scoring chances to speak of.

Flames had a bad start and was outshot by 7-0 at one time and got scored on early. But after that Flames 1st goal, they were energized. I love that PK tandem of Byron and Blair Jones..they are persistent. The veteran line Stempniak-Stajan-Cammy line played well the whole game except at the beginning of the game. Hudler-Backlund was flying. I can't really complain on any of the lines because I thought they all played well. TJ Brodie and Russell are great defensive tandem and I am very impressed with Ladislav Smid. The guy is not afraid to block shots. Karri Ramo I thought was solid in goal. I hope Hartley reward him with another start. Hartley should stay with the hot hand except when they have to play back-to-back games.
Anyways, good for the Flames in finally beating that freaking boring Phoenix Coyotes.

Apologies if already posted:

Flames: 5-11-2 without Giordano this season...... 5-2-2 with him.
