Quality replies, people. Unsubstantiated opinions only reinforce the notion that comments like "lol" are the expected quality of discussion here.
I'm not sure what kind of quality of discussion you expect from such a ridiculous question. The quality of the replies are proportional to the quality of the subject up for discussion. Seems pretty simple, and justified.

Maybe if Canada sent in 3 or 4 teams, he might make it as a 13th forward.
Cammalleri's skills aren't outstanding compared to all the other quality top 6 Canadian forwards and he has little defensive skill to make it as anything but a top 6 player.

I don't see what the problem with the question was. Cammy is pretty much a lock for team Canada with the way he's playing right now. Team Canada is going to be pretty weak up front without him.
The real question: Do we think Butler suits up for Team Austria? I know it's a long shot, but he hasn't been THAT bad.

If the question is ridiculous, it should be pretty easy to come up with a supported argument as to what makes it ridiculous.
If you want raise the quality of discussion, gifs and one-liners don't do that. All they do is show that the original post is controversial. It takes a real supported argument to show the original post is bad.
The better prosposition would be Giordano for team Canada consideration, me thinks.
Before his injury, I was getting slightly optimistic, then thought he had no chance once he was injured. Now however, with the announcement for Team Canada pushed back to January, he has a few weeks again to prove that this point per game pace isn't a fluke, and he can keep up with these added responsibilities.
Looking at Team Canada's defense, you know it's going to be heavy on the right side. Pietrangelo, Weber, Doughty, Subban, Seabrook are all probably locks.
That leaves 3 spots for left handed defensemen. Of those invited to the summer camp, 8 were left handed D (Kieth, Bouwmeester, Alzner, Hamhuis, Methot, Staal, Phaneuf and Vlasic).
I would say Kieth and Bouwmeester would still be locks for this team. The player most likely Giordano would have to beat out for that last spot would be Vlasic. Right now I think Canada would still pick Vlasic, but give another month of the type of hockey we've seen from Giordano, and we might see him picked as the 8th defensemen. Flames fans can hope.

Lazy replies beget lazy threads.
Of course replies are going to be lazy for a ridiculous subject. There's no benefit to typing up a detailed thesis that meticulously breaks down why ridiculous subjects are ridiculous. They're proprtionately lazy to the subject, which appears to be just some stream of consciousness craziness that wasn't thought out before the submit button was clicked. (EDIT: Based on a subsequent reply, it seems like the subject was a joke anyway. And everyone knows that detailed analysis and thoughtful explanations *always* makes jokes funnier).
Ridiculous threads beget lazy replies. And holding the replies to some higher standard than the subjects being submitted seems odd, quite frankly.
Eagerly awaiting your peer review on my reply before I submit it to the academic board for review before publishing further.
