There's going to be quite the celebration at the "olive oil export/flower shop" tonight.

Indeed it was. Would love to see him do it more often and more consistently.

I thought he played good. His normal line mates are out too.

I figured his play the last couple games might have to do with it being a "Father's Trip" and he lost his less then a year ago and was very close with him. Might be having a bit of a rough time with what's going on around him.

Squid, Stemps and Stajan took that game over. A couple of amazing shifts for sure and just about every shift on. Amazing game by those three. You know who the Flames would be without those guys? The Oilers...

Because he is Healy and people are going to hate him no matter what he says.

He pointed out how bad the Flames were defensively in the the first period using examples to illustrate his point and he was right.

Then commented on how tough the California trip is this year and said the Flames shouldn't have brought the Dads on this trip to watch the Flames get embarrassed. They should have chose an easier trip for them to watch.

Reminds me of the Flames from the start of the season. Great team game and hard work from everyone. Definitely deserved that one.

Have to say I've been sort of "meh" about all the Backlund rumours so far. But if he played like he did tonight every game theres no way we'd be talking about trading him. Very solid defensively with some flashes of offence as well. Glad to see him playing this well, hope he can continue to build on it.

Ramo played well and almost got a shutout. Oh well Hartley just announced Reto Berra starting next game. Seriously though good on Kari Ramo for playing well tonight. PK was solid and pretty much the whole team was great. Stajan, Smid and Stempniak was feisty all night which was great to see. Good game and great effort.
