Backlund for Erat + 2014 1st

-They want a player who will compete and one who's young
-They are able to get rid of Erat and his contract.
-Backlund would fetch a second but it's compensation for taking on a guy who isn't pulling his weight and not playing his contract. (Capitals will make the play offs so a later pick)
-After shedding of players like Cammy, Stajan, O'Brien... Erats contract may help us reach the cap floor.
