I'm looking to pick up a couple Nintendo 3DS XLs before Christmas, looks like $150 at Target is the best deal so far

I wish the 2DS wasn't so ugly, $99 at Walmarts a great price

I have been using it for about a year, and I am pretty guilty of being a 'showroomer' now. When I see something ridiculously cheap on Amazon, I will check it out at one of the other retailers and just order from Amazon. I have ordered everything from watches to Big screen TV's, and having 2 day free shipping on anything that is prime qualified is a ridiculously good deal. It has been awesome, and I just have everything delivered to my work. Surprisingly, UPS has been awesome, and always on time. And on the stuff I don't want delivered to work, they now automatically drop it at the nearest UPS store if you aren't home, you don't have to drive to the Airport now. They have fixed the biggest problem UPS had in the past.... finally.

Also with PRIME you don't have to worry about fakes, or counterfeit stuff, as it is all guaranteed by Amazon.

For the $70 the membership costs, you can't go wrong. I pretty much only shop at stores for clothes and food now, that is it.

Also, another thing. Any time you use Amazon, go through the Airmiles shops portal. Sometimes they have ridiculous deals like 20X airmiles. I picked up 2700 AM's through Amazon in the last 10 months.
Echoing that Prime is totally 100% worth it.

Don't know if that is a deal or not.

Also where it really helps, is on the really cheap stuff. I ordered 2 batteries for iPhones, and they were only $7 bucks each, and with prime, they get shipped for free in a reasonable time frame, as you don't have to meet a minimum order amount.

Another note, don't be ######ed and give the Apple store $100 to change your battery. It took me 20 minutes to do 2 iPhone 4s's, at 7 bucks a piece.

Just make sure you buy the right screw drivers, or you are screwed if you strip them.

I'm looking for a laptop...really wanted to stick with PC, but Staples has an i5 Macbook Air for $899, which is decent, no?

When Black Friday comes
I'm gonna dig myself a hole
Gonna lay down in it 'til
I satisfy my soul
Gonna let the world pass by me
The Archbishop's gonna sanctify me
And if he don't come across
I'm gonna let it roll
When Black Friday comes
I'm gonna stake my claim
I'll guess I'll change my name

I'm doubting that's the Haswell model, if you're okay with that.

I'm having trouble believing that Amazon.ca has enough of a selection to really take advantage of the $80 membership for Prime. These headphones are my first order of 2013 though I bought about 5 other things in 2012 from Amazon.

On the note of the headphones, looks like they'll be here Wednesday at the latest. Excited.

Ugh... Those headphones are taunting me. I just don't think I can pass up on snagging $400 headphones for $150. Also, going to buy the Entourage complete series on Bluray for $120.

I would've got both, but didn't like the amount of sound leakage on the expensive ones.

What's with earphones and black Friday or boxing day? They always seem to be one item that's hugely discounted.

On top of that, what's with headphones? Am I stuck in the 90's with my earbuds? I only really use earphones at the gym/running so I'll never wear something like those for that, other times might be cleaning the garage or something. Again, don't think those would seem suitable.

Maybe at work if I'm sick of listening to coworkers? Or on an airplane? I fly a little bit, usually 5-7 times a year, which means 10-14 (two ways). Is that what people use them for? Could they block out the annoying reality TV my wife watches? You know, those shows that are just people arguing with each other or complaining about other people (big brother, amazing race, survivor, etc.). Whoa, a bit off topic, sorry.

That said, why do I have a strange urge to by these ($60.00 ones)??

Doesn't matter, they're sold out.

To answer your question, I use them for flying (but that's 1-2 times a week). If I was still married I would also enjoy them for drowning out reality television.

Memory Express had their clearance section marked at an additional 70% off this morning. There was some ridiculous deals.

I saw at the Edmonton location a Sony Vaio 13 pro for 500$ (regular 1300$) There were some pretty good deal in Calgary too.

As of a few minutes ago it is back to 40% off. Still some good deals

Anyone know of any 32`` inch range tvs with a slim profile for sale. Hoping around the 150 mark they don`t have to be amazing tv`s as they are secondary displays

Headphones usually have a high mark up from 70-150%+ so even when their half off the store still makes a decent profit. That's why stores usually try to upsell headphones when somebody buys an iPod or something. They only make about $10 off the iPod. Headphones, cases, screen protectors, and extra chargers are where they make their money.

I worked at an electronics store when the beats by dre first came out and they $199.99 regular price. One time they went on sale for 119.99 so that was already about 70% off and a customer used a 40% off voucher on the sale price so it went down to about $71 and they still weren't close to the cost price for the headphones.

Any good deals for iPad Air? Want to get my wife one.

Best I've found is Target which is only $20 off regular price but you get a $100 gift card as well. But they only advertise the 16GB one so not sure if that's the only size they carry.

2nd best is Staples with $20-40 off depending on the memory size.

Also going to go to Canadian Tire, they have a set of 15x70 binoculars on for $50, good for star gazing.

I got a 32 GB one at Target for 599 - gift card - 5% red card discount. It netted out at $570.
