Why are they on the team again? When you have a goon line and you are down 6-1 a minute into the 3rd you better be starting something and forcing someone to fight.

Disagree. Thought they were completely out matched tonight, but started to show bursts in the third when the rest of the team finally woke up.
The only reason they didn't get scored on is because they never matched up against the top line...thank god. That definitely would have ended up in the back of the net.

Anyways, brutal game, but I find it conveniently forgettable.
I hate to harp on what's going to become a pretty lazy excuse around here for the next while, but it's a rebuild. Losing sucks, but this is going to happen and it's kind of good it happens. The last thing we would want is management believing we're actually a "piece or two away" and go do something stupid.

I do hope so. Flames need to hit rock bottom by the end of the year. That's the only way they can improve. Man, Feaster wasted on Monahan's time up here with the Flames. Rushing the prospects to mature on a bad team is not a good thing.

Late bloomer.
In his draft year he played for a pretty good BCHL team and put decent not great numbers.
I think he had some poor skating back then as well if I remember some stories about him correctly.
