The thing with rookies and growings and getting learnings and stuff is that... You can't lie to them. Basically, if you wanna tell the rookies they can't do something they're gonna want to do it more. When I was a rookie I did all kinds of crazy #### and I turned out wicked. That's because my coach was ####in' cool, he let me do ####.

You know, that's what good coaching is all about. You gotta let them have a bit of freedom.

I think some of our guys are just fustated. Last night it looked like a tropical earthquake blew through the lineup. Some of those guys need to swallow their prize ASAT.

Make my words, i'm an optometrist, but i've been stretched out these past couple games watching this team.

Maybe a bit of a cop out, but I think a big part of it is how the injuries piled up on us early. You never want injuries to be an excuse be we're not deep and we know that. Of course losing our #1 defenseman and a few forwards on top of that is going to hurt our defensive play.

Last two games were disappointing for sure, but I'm not jumping on the team here. We knew this season would be like this. They don't have the talent to play bad, or it'll look like this. But every team has bad games. Ours will just be more noticeable cause we're rebuilding.
