Maybe just being hyper-sensitive here, but sheesh. That's offensive, and its embarrassing to think that you might be a Canadian citizen.

Didn't mean to offend anyone... Obviously I not trying to disrespect veterans on Remembrance Day. I can see how my comment could be taken that way. Sorry.
I am just trying to say that I think the team canada management should respect what iginla has contributed to those 2 gold medals and appreciate what he can still contribute. I've watched every bruins game this year and he has been a force every night... He may not have as many points as Lucic and Krejci but anyone that has been watching these games can see that he has been a factor in every goal that the line has scored. He honestly looks like he did 5 years ago... Especially with his speed and grit.
I don't expect him make the team cause I don't think Babcock is a big fan of his... It was evident in how he used iginla in the last Olympics. I really think he should have gotten an invite to the training camp at least. That was a major snub for a guy that helped save team canada from disaster in 2010 and scored 2 goals in the gold medal game of 2002.
I still stand by my comment that I will not cheer for team canada if iginla is not on the team. I know lots of you don't agree and I can understand why. It's not like it's going to be easy for me to cheer for Switzerland over Canada - but I am a flames fan first... Team canada fan 2nd. I know he's not on the roster anymore but he will always be a Calgary flame to the fans here. Team canada is going to deny him the chance to be the only hockey player ever to have 3 gold medals.
I hope he starts lighting it up and makes Yzerman consider him for the team... But even if he does, I think Babcock will convince Yzerman not to bring iginla.
