Can we look at a different PP -Each time I yell shoot to a point man I realize there isn't a single guy in front of the net. Sure we can cycle all day long but only very few teams have the players to make this work ie Washington. Colborne should be planted in front of the net with focus on getting Wideman point shots and if its not available a Cammy 1 timer!

It's a leg injury so not really a concern. He needed the time off anyway. He's been awful.

Losing glencross is one of the biggest positives of the night for me, tbh.

On to next game.

Losing Glencross makes the Flames a worse team, so not sure how its a positive at all.

Yeah... all right, let's go back through prior game history... what was the last blow-out we had? What was the score? Who was benched and who was put in?

When you preach something and practice something else, like Hartley has benching Sven repeatedly, you don't think it has an affect on work ethic? Because the stats seem to be speaking against you with remarkably consistency.

... oh, and dont get me wrong as a Sven defender... but when he is being benched and other "veteren" players like Glencross, Butler and Jackman are getting a pass, it makes his merit message sickeningly hollow.

some of you really don't think Glencross helps this team...if he is gone you will find out pretty fast. I think maybe we already did

Flames didn't out-work the other team in the third, full-stop.

It seemed like after the second goal, all the momentum shifted to Minnesota and just drained out of the Flames.

Berra played well enough, unlike the team in front of him.

I agree. Losing Glencross isn't a huge concern for what he has brought this season, unless he plays while hurt and uses it as an excuse to be bad.

Hartley.... your line combos suck. This isn't the first game the Flames have been noticeably out-coached.

There's no denying Glencross was fairly brutal for the first 10-11 games.

He has been better lately though, no doubt the Flames will miss him.

I think it's time Bob held some other players accountable as this isn't going to fly much longer singling out the same few guys. Even the best head coaches make moves at times that make fans and media scratch their heads. If it starts becoming frequent then it's probably not good long term for the team or the coach.
Team has 6 wins in 15 games...0-2 without Sven? so what

Flames will rebound and beat Louie on Thursday.

Get up for the teams they have no business skating with, take a back seat against teams that provide minimal interest or storylines. One old habit I was hoping they would kick..

When he decides to play, he can damned near carry this team on his back.

That he decides to play 1 in 4 games is what doesn't help this team! Nobody is going to argue that he isn't talented, nor about his potential. His work ethic on the other hand, that's the source of most ire.

So yeah, when Glencross decides to take the night off he doesn't help this team, he hurts it, brutally. But when he decides to play, he certainly does help it. Basically he is a baby version of Iginla.

Galliardi has been playing poorly for many games this season. I would bench him to send a message way before benching Sven.

First of all, we will get blown out a few more times this year WITH Sven in the lineup, so get over it. It's coincidence. I would like to see you back your argument with statistics that have a large enough sample size. I doubt you can.

It's only a hollow message if you're a child. A grown up knows when to take things personally and when to suck it up and accept a decision. If I was Sven I'd be that much more motivated the next game, and if he isn't, well too freakin bad kid, suck it up and force them to bench a veteran in favor of you. I personally don't find Hartley's handling of anything so far inappropriate, just inconvenient for a fan base.

Well, we obvious have the hater among us. If you want to paint a team that just dropped below 500 that way, your motivation is obvious. I mean, if this team has 7 losses in 15 games... 0-2 without Sven? so what

For the record, the crap punctuation above was purely a matter of emulation and done under great duress. For the record, give those 2 Sven games back, and suddenly its a team thats only lost 5 of 15 games... sounds pretty solid doesn't it?
