The toughest game left on Wichita State's schedule is tonight in Terre Haute against Indiana State. Hoping for some national TV so I can watch!

Wichita State 65 Indiana State 58

24-0

Very entertaining game.

Canadian Sycamore Manny Arop was on fire in the first half. WSU's Canadians Nick "Big Brother" Wiggins and Chadrack Luffile both played significant roles in the Shocker victory off the bench.

Commentator Mark Adams reiterated his assertion that Fred Van Vleet is the best point guard in the country, along with Tyler Ennis (Canadian).

I'd really, really like to know what was going through Marcus Smart's head as this happened. There are obviously conflicting reports as to what was said, some saying it was a racial slur (you can figure out which one), some say it wasn't anything malicious. Still, I'm sure many players dreamed of doing this to annoying ass fans.

27-0.

Both Cleanthony Early and Fred VanVleet named to the Naismith Award watchlist this week.

You mean runner up to the Naismith Award watchlist. Doug McDermott would have to murder a baby to lose it this year.

The question for Wichita State is how prepared are they for the tourney with the schedule they ended up with.

I think they're prepared. They've played the best schedule they could. I wish Bracket Busters was still going. Would be nice to see them play against another top RPI team. They are the best road team in the country over the last 3 years though.

This team is better than last years team. They are incredibly fun to watch.

So, with Syracuse hanging on by a thread the last few games and finally dropping one at home last night to Boston College, Wichita State is now the lone remaining undefeated team in college basketball, at 28-0.

I can see them remaining at the #3 spot in the AP Poll. The AP has been jumping people in front of them all season. I think Florida and Syracuse will flip flop. I do believe the coaches poll will move them up.

Regional cover of Sports Illustrated is epic. Love the bravado!

Texas definitely peaked at the wrong time. Hopefully this is just a valley until tourney time comes around. Last time they were beat that badly they ended up going on a run to the Elite 8. I don't see the same talent level here than was on that team, but anything can happen.

The Cuse 25-0 start could all be for not if they don't find their offense soon, and having nail bitters with inferior teams like Maryland and BC shouldn't happen. The defense on other hand has been stellar

Need to get Jermai Grant back healthy as well, and it would be great if Trevor Cooney could find his shot again.

Man, this team is a blast to watch. So explosive offensively. They make their opponents work for everything on the defensive end.

Yeah, it is a down year for the Valley, but the Shockers are 17-0 and only 2 of those wins came by a margin of less than 10 points. Their best win is a road win at a top 10 team in St Louis.

If they don't lose, they should be a #1. I don't think they'll lose.

In the end, they'll either be good enough to go back to the Final Four or they won't. That will be decided on the court regardless of where they are slotted in the tournament.

Can't wait for the Madness!!

I think Wichita State can now afford one loss and still get a #1 seed. Now obviously it can't be a huge blowout, but if they lose in the MVC tournament by 3 points or something I have a hard time seeing 3 other teams jump them in the queue for a #1 seed. The four #1 seeds actually almost look locked in at this point: Florida, Arizona, Syarcuse and Wichita State. Kansas might be the only team who can break up that top 4.

Fred Van Vleet named a semi-finalist for the Naismith Award today!

Doug McDermott, Russ Smith, Shabazz Napier, Jabari Parker, Tyler Ennis, Nick Johnson, Sean Kilpatrick, Julius Randle, Andrew Wiggins and Fred Frickin' Van Vleet!!

That Oregon floor is horrible to look at.

I don't understand why they have to screw around with everything. At least with the football jersey's it makes sense to let Phil Knight have some fun so they can use his money to pay the football players but why screw around with the ugly basketball floor? Is that a Nike thing as well?

Damn was hoping Indiana St. would be able to pull off the win but it looks like they will lose too and we have to hear about about Witchita State's undefeated season and whether they should be the #1 overall seed.

Was hoping they would lose today and hopefully lose out on a 1 seed altogether but sounds like even with the win they would going to be handed a 1 seed.

As someone who doesn't care about Wichita State or Indiana State I'm cheering for the undefeated story for the tournament. An uncommon feat and provides a fair amount of interest to the tournament.
Whether they deserve it or not- I don't know. Arizona lost to ASU. Syracuse lost to BC. Good teams lose to bad teams all the time. When Wichita doesn't lose those games, I think that means a lot. A more quantitative measure of how good they've been is that they are 1 of only 4 teams with top 20 offensive and defensive efficiency.

Fred VanVleet was incredible today.

The story is no longer about being undefeated. It's tournament time. 34-0 means nothing now. They'll be a #1 seed and they deserve it.

I think Florida is the clear #1 overall seed though and I have no problem with that. 18-0 in the SEC with a balanced schedule is an incredible feat.
