David Perron is trying to play up the 'pest' thing too much. He's turning into a bit of a circus sideshow, he's forcing it too much.

Even if they were forced to trade Heatley, they would get more than "very little" for him. Besides, he's a UFA and won't return for cheap. He's not a player we should be targeting at this point

Smid has one of the most punchable faces in the NHL.

What is Nick Schultz doing, what kind of decision defensively is that.

Kevin Quinn announces opposition goals like somebody just shot his dog. Unprofessional in the extreme.

Nice hospital pass by Schultz just before the penalty.

Isn't a 4-on-3 face-off in your own zone the exact reason that they way overpaid for Boyd Gordon?

What the eff is Will "I only play in the NHL because my dad is a coach" Acton doing out there?

The Oilers already have brutal talent to put out there Eakins isn't helping by putting the worst guys out in key situations.

100% agree that we shouldn't be targeting him but if we could get him for a decent price, we could flip him at the deadline. I don't really see it happening, I mean it could, but I doubt it. I've just always liked Heatley for some reason. And if Vanek did end up on the wild, they could just send Heatley back to the sabres and then the sabres could flip him at the deadline.

Either way, I think there is less than a 1% chance he'd ever end up in Calgary. I do really dislike the wild though and I wouldn't mind seeing the Sabres do a bit better.

Bahaha. I think a funeral is about to break out based on how the Oilers play-by-play guys announce Capitals goals.

Someone needs to tell the Oilers colour commentator that the word he needs to use is "really", not "real".

All he talks about are how "real hard" and "real good" various plays are.

Schultz once again, turns the puck over in the defensive zone, can't win any battle, screens his own goalie, takes no one in front.

HORRIBLE.

I'm starting to feel like I'm harping on this guy a lot, but i'm absolutely stunned this guy is seeing regular icetime on an NHL team. Chris Butler is a top pairing guy if Schultz is an NHL defender.

The good news is next game they can forget all about it and Principe can still make some stupid penguin analogies to his heart's desire.

Oops think they shot his horse as well.

Haha Quinn is getting on the Avs announcers level for opposition goal calling.

It's about that time of year when the Oilers start playing for draft position.
