Pretty cool. The part I liked about him in the camp back in July is he seemed really aggressive and went to the net a lot. He got in shoving matches with Sieloff several times and wouldn't back down. Also pretty strong on the puck for not being too big.

Yup, maybe next year. Monahan and Poirer are late birth years so despite being drafted this year this is their last year of eligibility for the World Junior tournament. Klimchuk can still play next year and will be in a much better position to make the team then.

The flames might have the deepest talent pool of left wingers in the NHL: cammalleri, glencross, baertschi, galiardi, gaudreau, granlund, and klimchuk to name a few. No wonder they had to trade tanguay... Need to make room for all this skill at left wing. I know a few guys have a lot of developing to do and some probably will never pan out but organizational depth at one position can be used to shore up other positions.

It would sure be nice to see our left wingers in 2015-2016 being baertschi, gaudreau, klimchuk, and galiardi. Skill, speed, and tenacity anchoring the left side of every line.
