Begin, apparently.

He should be..well maybe not growing in you, but whatever floats your boat. He's been the most consistent forward for the Flames since March 2012.

Last season he was matched up against the teams top lines night in and night out and still was the highest +/- on the team. He also scored the most even strength points for the Flames despite going up against the other teams top players. Normally when you have a player/line capable of neutralizing the other teams top line like that you're golden. Glencross, Cammalleri, and Hudler had all slumped prior to being placed on his wing and then put up points, with Stempniak leading the team in scoring in large part thanks to Stajan. He has his weaknesses, he's not the most physical or good at faceoffs and don't want him touching the PP but for a shutdown center he was closing in on ideal last season. But that all got mostly overlooked because he's Matt Stajan.

He might revert back to 2011 early 2012 form where he was barely, if at all, an NHL player but last season he was criminally underrated in my opinion. And, if you told me I would say this a couple years ago I wouldn't believe you, at his price tag (2.5M this year) he's a bargain.

I think Begin is on an AHL contract anyway. I don't think technically he is being "sent down" since he is not on an NHL contract to begin with.

That must be why he is going back to AHL even though he is injured.

Bummed Ramage and Granlund didn't make the cut. But I'm sure we will send them up at some point throughout the season.

Ramage and Granlund will probably get a shot at some point but Bummed is in a tight spot, he'll have to work hard to make it.

Is he any relation of Bill Bumface? Are there other members of the Bumface clan that we should be drafting?

18 - Matt Stajan - C
21 - Roman Horak - C
23 - Sean Monahan - C
13 - Mike Cammalleri - LW
17 - Lance Bouma - LW
20 - Curtis Glencross - LW
24 - Jiri Hudler - LW
39 - TJ Galiardi - LW

Sorry to be off topic, but on the Stajan front....

He was arguably our best forward last year, but definitely in the conversation at least.

He has absolutely been our best player in camp. Period.

He has also been nothing but class throughout his time here, even though he has heard the comments from fans and the general hate towards him.

I tip my hat to him and I hope he continues to play great and win back more fans.

Now back to topic: I think you nailed it, AC.
