At 10:01 of the 3rd period John Scott jumps Phil Kessel prompting Phil to react by viciously swing his stick two-handed twice at Scott's ankles. While what Scott did was not sportsmanlike and resulted in the proper disciplinary action on the ice what Kessel did was reckless and could have hurt multiple players including teammates which is why we are not suspending him..."

Kessel should get about 20 games for that gong show. One big two hander as he runs away and then another when Scott is engaged with another player. Then to top it all off he re-engages Scott when things start to settle down and spears him. Gutless stuff.

Not sure what Scott what get suspended for. Of course he would penalties and tossed from the game, but other than that he really didn't do much. Clarkson gets an easy 10 games, and Kessel deserves a game or two......the slashing was stupid enough, but when he went back at the end to give Scott another jab with his stick while he was tied up with the linesman that deserves something, even if one game.
