Didn't know Breen was hurt. That really sucks given some had him as a contender for a pro roster spot. This year seems like a pivotal one for him after spending 4 straight seasons in the AHL without a call up to the NHL.

Breen missed the last part of the season with the shoulder injury, he would have been a call up had he not been injured. He has also only been in the organization 3 years so far and as an undrafted free agent it is not at all surprising he has yet to see a game, he was a project and he is becoming what Sutter had hoped when he signed him.
