The main problem IMO is that people who hold what they consider to be often majority opinion don't produce quality arguments for their positions. This, at least, looks like group think.

I am really surprised to see Ramage in the lead. I am not saying it is wrong. Just a surprise.

I think from here on out, things will be really tight.

I voted Arnold, as he seems to have everything going for him EXCEPT the foot-speed. I loved his dangle in the scrimmage. I think he is a GREAT 2-way player that drives the net, can set-up plays, can score, plays physical and is defensively responsible. Needs to work on his speed, however (though I wouldn't say he is slow.. just needs some improvement there).

Ramage was probably my 2nd choice, and I almost selected him. Culkin, Kulak, Breen and even Kanzig are right there in my thoughts as well. I haven't selected one of the goalies yet - I just find them exceptionally difficult to compare as prospects, though I am really high on Brossoit and Berra actually, and feel Ortio CAN develop into a #1 or a solid back-up.

What I really like is this is round 16, and I am finding it difficult to vote not because these are garbage prospects, but because I feel they are still quality prospects moving forward with solid NHL potential. I think if we were to turn back time to about 5 years ago, there would be many names in the top 10 that aren't selected yet, and to me this is very, very encouraging. There are also some prospects I am not too familiar with as well, but who have decent scouting reports (but whom I have either never seen, or just seen once or twice and may not even have noticed them much).

I've been going with Berra. Potential solid #1 goalie based on what little I saw during the World Championships.

Or maybe hypothetical #1 would be right word, since I have no idea what are the odds of him reaching that ceiling are. But that goes for pretty much the rest of the guys, who are 2nd liners or 2nd pairing guys at the very best.

So Berra and then Brossoit. (In that order since I've never seen Brossoit play.)

The main problem is we're all just a bunch of fans voting on a list that at the end of the day means nothing and if you're honestly taking it that seriously I'd take a step back.
