Roscoe. Also another vote for Hodor.
We just named our new puppy Lucy, so you can't use that one.

Too bad I don't like pets. I've always wanted to get a cat and name him Chairman Meow.

One of my friends in Brooks had a neighbour who would stick his head out the door and yell "SYPHILLIS!!!!" at the top of his lungs. That was the name of his cat.
Call him "Hairy" because that's what he'll be.
Some simple like Bob is best. One syllable.

No more than 2 syllables for a dog name. Dogs get 1-2 syllable sounds, but beyond that not so much.
I like Bear...

Disagree with simple names. Giving your cat or dog names, especially prefixed with honorific titles, makes people think about how awesome your pets are or how crazy you are.
Cat: Lord Dalrymple, Viscount of Hertfordshire
Dog: Francis Bowmont III, Duke of Grosvenor

Was at the dog park and some one named their dog Soda Pop. I feel sorry for the father.
