Went with Sielloff.

I have a great feeling about him, he'll make the team this year!

You guys have a great point about Klimchuk and Poirier. If the Flames had only the 22nd pick in a deep draft and took Poirier, and didn't have Monahan and Klimchuk in the mix would they be valuing that new first rounder greater than when there are three, and one clearly a cut above the other two?

Interesting suggestion, and one I'm likely guilty of as well.

I'm not convinced Brossoit will amount to much of anything. There's something about him.. He's way down on my list.

I like Brossoit but will be watching him closely this year. Want to see some progression.

I am sure you didn't mean for it to read like that, but your sentence comes across kind of scary.

Want to see some progression? What if you don't, are you going sentence him to the CP Doghouse with JBow, and soft as Butler?

Alright, let's try that again...

I think Brossoit is a solid prospect but I want to see how he handles the transition to pro. I want to see him take the next step in his development.

Knight is growing on me. I have him as my fifth best prospect (don't have Gilles on my list yet)

If the 2011 and 2012 drafts were re-done, would Wotherspoon and Sieloff be first rounders? (I don't know the answer to that, but I'd like to!)

For Wotherspoon it is probably too soon to tell for sure but think that he would just be an earlier second rounder.

There are some guys in the 20-30 range that he could replace but guys like Rattie, Grimaldi, Jurco, Jenner, Gibson, Khokhlachev, Rask, Saad, Harrington would all be rated favorably in comparison to Wotherspoon.

Plus I am sure there are some later round guys (say Johnny Gaudreau) that would be taken ahead of him if there was a redraft.

Looking back that was a really good draft in 2011. Kills me that the 2nd rounder we had to trade to get rid of Wayne Primeau turned into Brandon Saad.

Sieloff is harder to tell but looking strictly at position I would take him over both Schmaltz and Skjei who were d-men taken late in the 1st round that year.

In the team rankings, it doesn't look like they have accounted for the 2013 draft, even though they have the 2013 draft guys listed on the Calgary page.

This is my 3rd rnd voting for Klimchuk; I guess I'll be doing the same for the next few rounds...lol

Yes, now it does get interesting.

I voted for Karri Ramo because although he may not be the best prospect on the list he is easily the most important. The ONLY hope the Flames have to be competitive this season rests on Ramos' shoulders.

I am shocked Ramo is being completely ignored. He's played in a league that I would say is a higher level than the NCAA. Yet, if he had played in the NCAA and had the success he's already had in the KHL, I bet he would have been ranked higher than Jankowski.

Think some of the older guys (Ramo, Berra, Horak, Cundari, etc) are being ignored since the majority dont reall see them as prospects anymore.

Ramo specifically is 27 years old and he has played 7 years of pro hockey. Dont think he should qualify as a prospect anymore.
