I've never even heard of any of those places! I think the article is best restaurants which opened in 2012.

For burgers, you can't beat the Fatboy at Dairi-Wip. Get the box of fresh cut fries to accompany it and thank me later!

Kinda like a diner/burger joint, but unique to Winnipeg, maybe Manitoba. Pretty good.
A burger at Salisbury (sals) is called a nip. Nips are only tasty if your system is properly primed with grains and it is afters 2am.......

Try to focus on burger joints that sell fatboys.

Trust me, I lived in winnipeg for a little over 30 years.

I'm from the South side....Sun Fortune and Masa on Pembina are two of my all-time faves.

Aww, his palate isn't fully developed, it's so cute!

Oh great, a foodie. I love a wide variety of foods, from a vast amount of different places... but I also don't mind crap food from time-to-time, it's a good balance. Foodies are tools.

I don't eat McDonalds very often (sometimes I will have a coffee) and everyone is entitled to their opinion but this holier than thou response is irritating. Is it great food - no, I don't think anyone over the age of 7 would think so, but it can be adequate food that tastes decent in a pinch.

Also what do people mean by development of a palate? Do you think because you ate fancy food at one point in time that your body remembers that and made your tastebuds superior as a result?
