Galiardi can play center as well.

Apparently he was demanding too much, and with Kennedy coming in they could afford to let him go.

You're 100% right. Better Galiardi than a 35 year old.

perhaps half of their remaining $3.5M in cap space may have gone to him in an RFA contract

Love the player.

Age, size, playing style, likely fairly cheap as well.

Really confused as to where he fits though.

This team is going to look nothing like last years team with all the new faces, but go ahead and place us last TSN.

One of those situations where we have capspace, and we pillage from a team that needs more room. I was hoping for one of StL's RFAs, but this pleases me.

Not a lot to dislike about this trade.

Well at least the team won't be a pushover this season.

Pierre LeBrun ‏@Real_ESPNLeBrun 18s With rookie C Tomas Hertl expected to play with Sharks next season plus newly acquired Tyler Kennedy, had to move a body out: Galiardi goes

Love it. Have been watching Galiardi since his hitmen days. Kid is a heck of a player.

The difference is, this team can and will probably finish last, but at least it will have the ability to improve and be better. Last years team was trending downward from the word go.

Sutter used to trade away all of our 2nd round picks. Feaster seems to like trading away our 4th round picks.

If I recall correctly, yes!

Great move by Feaster
