So can we confirm if the draft is being streamed? If not, I will rely on Fan960

Getting blackout drunk is the only surfire way. But it's risky.

If we come out of today with Seguin & 2 solid 1st round picks I think I will shout to the heavens in thanks. Barkov/Lindholm/Monahan + Pulock & Zykov would be monumental drafting should Feaster keep the picks.

If Feaster lands Barkov somehow, I will never bad mouth him again.

I'll stand by that too, for example I've never spoken ill of Corey Perry ever since his game against Russia at the Olympics.

special thanks for valo403 recommending that pizza joint near Penn station. Didn't feel like finding and bumping that old thread.

brought a radio incase I can't stream and the pvr recording back home...I know its just a draft but I am really excited and looking forward to see how things unravel today...if a goalie does go 6th for Calgary I will be the one rushing the stage.

Are we getting a group together to meet up to watch the draft, drink a couple of beers, then head out to demolish someone's basement?

*edit* I just finished the last shift of 6 straight 12 hour night shifts, so I shall just assume that someone is going to take the reigns on planning this, fall asleep, and be ready to leave at noon.

This is it biggest day in franchise history. We push forward with a new beginning and hit pay dirt, or we screw it up and young guns 2 here we come.

No mention of seguin or the flames during trade discussion on "the reporters" today. Has that rumour died?

Edler being shopped apperently.

Would NJ look at bringing scheinder in knowing they're likely screwed once Marty is gone but also knowing scheinder would likely be upset to have to battle for the starting spot again (even if its only for one year in NJ)?

Want to see #6 kept, #22 and #28 packaged up to top 12 and a couple of trades to bring in help right away.

LOL, this is funny to me. Not that I don't recognize the value of drafting well, or the importance of rebuilding this franchise, but I will be fine with whoever we draft at #6 because they are all pretty much good players at this point. I think the more important ones are #22 and #28 because they aren't guaranteed to be good, and I always get really fascinated at the later rounds because that's where you find the gems like the TJ Brodies or Johnny Gaudreaus.

For me, it will just be a matter of which great prospect we pick and how that fits into our team going forward. It will also be interesting to see if we do any more trades, which is probably why people are nervous today.

Just relax and enjoy the ride people. The sun will rise tomorrow either way.

I hope they keep the pick and take Lindholme, or Monahan. I'd be intrigued by Nichushkin, ecstatic with Barkov, not too disappointed with Nurse. If they trade the 6, and its for a top young player like Seguin, I'm ok with that too.

Basically I don't want to experience that sinking feeling I had after the Phaneuf trade, the Regher trade, the return for Iggy... Where I think to myself, "this can't be right, there has to be more to this", and then there isn't.
