Having the right coach at the right time in early team development is also fundamental...If the 'Hawks had a "veteran" coach for 2005, then the probability is that journeymen vets, and not untried prospects, would have gotten the big minutes, and panic moves to plug perceived holes would have been likely. An experienced coach with flexibility in roster use would be the ideal.
