No prediction, but I'd like it to go 7 games. Should be a great series.

Rask>Crawford ...'Hawk Speed>>>Bruins
Whichever team dictates the pace of the games will be in control for the series. Zone exits will be key.
I predict the 'Hawks 3rd and 4th liners will be able to surprise the B's and generate some rushes. Stalberg will be the wild card...teams that haven't played a lot against him, often get caught flat footed a couple of times...if he only could finish!

Bruins in 6 games. Sounds right on.
Rask is undoubtedly superior to Crawford. And if Boston's D does half the job they did on the offensive talents of Pittsburgh, then Chicago isn't going to get a sniff of offense either. Maybe for a game or two, if they use their speed right, which is why I say 6.
Will be glad to see the Hawks get disposed of in hopefully short order, though. I can't say I like them. Whereas I can admire the character and team ethic of the bruins and the class of guys like Chara more. Toews just acts like a little #### when things don't go his way. I like Hossa, but then that twerp Kane rubs me the wrong way as well.
Not that invested in it though... Next year all I ask is that the finals don't involve two teams that have already won the cup in the past 5 years. I like having a legit underdog to support, or a surprise team, just someone else. Watched these teams too much in recent years. It gets pretty damn boring.

Hope the Bruins win.
That is a team that was built the right way. They didnt require lottery picks to help turn them around. Used great drafting, shrewd trading, and some smart UFA signings to turn things around.
The Bruins should be the model franchise in the NHL and I hope they win.

Totally unrelated but the last US Presidential election was Barack Obama of Illinois vs Mitt Romney of Massechussets.

I kinda want Chicago to win but...
Boston in 6. They're just bigger, nastier and have a more rounded team, and Rask is scary good. Chicago's defense could make all the difference though
I respect both teams despite them not being the teams I wanted in the finals

Sure, I'll put one up for you Girly. Should be a close series, interesting to see who CP thinks will take it.
I say Bruins in 6.

Boston has been a different team since the TO series. I think they really started to believe they were destined to win after that. They were able to shut down 87 and 71 on Pittsburgh, and I can't see 19 and 88 on Chicago fairing any better in a long series. Bruins in 5.

The bruins will win in 6, they have the physical advantage and will hammer the hawks and basically make them look like creampuffs. You can only play tough for so long but now that they are facing a nasty bruins team they will be man handeld and will be physically shutdown.
