Here is my guess

1) Seth Jones
2) Nathan MacKinnon
3) Jonathan Drouin
4) Darnell Nurse
5) Sean Monahan
6) Sasha Barkov
7) Elias Lindholm
8) Nichuskin
9) Nikita Zadorov
10) Max Domi

Nichuskin will fall till 8th spot, some teams won't take the chance.

I fully expect Feaster to have the groundwork in place to move up to 2nd, but I think if he has any sense he waits until Colorado picks to pull the trigger.

Well that's the question.

There are no "concerns" that I'm aware of. He dislocated his shoulder. Every player suffers injuries and his recovery is going as expected (skating in june).

As far as skating goes, there's a good amount of variation between views that one sees. I think it was a Tampa scout on nhl.com that actually said he was a great skater. He's not, but those who say that it's a serious issue are just quoting old reports rather than assessing his current situation. Much of internet "scouting" is in fact third-hand reporting. Craig Button gave his skating 4/5 in November. What Barkov - like many others - needs for the NHL is short-distance explosiveness. He'll get around the ice no worse than someone like Joe Thornton does.

If he "drops", it'll be because teams judge that others have more offensive upside.

But he won't. If I had to guess, Nichushkin is the one that people tend to have too high on their lists.

Doesn't matter as Florida would never do it.
Oh, I see. You must have a solid inside source with the Panthers.

I could definitely see Nurse going very high in this draft, especially to a team that wants to rebuild it's D-core. Carolina has the Staal bros and Skinner but no defenseman to really build around. Those top 4 look very realistic. The real question is who's 5th? A star forward is something I'm sure the Preds would love. They have the choice between Barkov, Nichushkin, and Monahan. My gut is that they will take Barkov, leaving the Flames with their choice between Nichushkin and Monahan. That's a very difficult choice.

Faulk, McBain, Murphy is a pretty decent core.

I do agree they need some more defensive minded D men, but you can get that later in the draft (2nd-4th rounds).

#1 - Avalanche - Seth Jones (D)- fits need, and ranked #1 prospect
#2 - Panthers - Nathan MacKinnon (C)- BPA- (best player available)
#3 - Lightning - Jonathan Drouin (LW)- Will play with Stamkos once St. Louis retires
#4 - Predators - Elias Lindholm (C)- All around Center to play with grinding winger Filip Foresberg
#5 - Hurricanes - Sasha Barkov (C) BPA
#6 - Flames - Sean Monahan (C) Best Center Available
#7 - Oilers - Valeri Nichushkin (LW) BPA- he has size and the Oilers need it
#8 - Sabres - Bo Horvat (LW) BPA- however I see them trading down, to mid first round and taking a D man. That D core was really poor last year, now without Regehr and Leopold too
#9 - Devils - Zachary Fucale (G) Brodeurs replacement, they won't have a first rounder next year so this will make them desperate to get a franchise tender.
#10 - Stars - Max Domi (C) 2nd line center behind Benn, perfect spot for him.
