If you're conflicted who to cheer for, as a Flame fan we should be cheering for the Rangers here. They have less points than St.Louis, so we want them to go far, and have the division-leading Caps go out in the first two rounds.

Is it awkward for Mike Peca to be doing commentary next to Aaron Ward while Wardo is wearing his 05/06 ring?

Good tied up. Caps could use some more bounces go their way.

Weak goal by Lundqvist on the 3rd one. He almost had the 2nd one too

Rangers choking like I expected them to.

Excellent. I hate that money wasting franchise.

So are the Rangers that bad, or are the Caps actually a contender this year? I haven't been that impressed the Washington all year long, and they really only seemed to benefit with playing in a terrible division. But, they won't have to play the Penguins until the 3rd round, which is absolutely huge for them if they want to go far in the playoffs.

They should hope that the Bruins end up playing Pittsburgh in the second round, as whoever survives that matchup could be easy pickings.

Lol that one guy behind the Caps bench is so plastered, he's asleep during the Caps last minute of the game.

Really pumped for this series. Sucks that it's a 10:30 start but hoping the Caps can pull off another big win.

When Ovechkin is on his game there is no player I like watching more. Washington seems like they have the depth to go deep into the playoffs this year with: Ovechkin, Backstrom, Erat, Ribiero, Johansson, Ward, Brouwer, and Laich when he comes back

I prefer NBC over TSN and especially CBC. Games are so exciting and called well o there. Hopefully Washington can keep up there play in the last 40 and win today.

I think the reason Backstrom wasn't called for interference was because of Dorsett's dive

0-0 after 2, Backstrom almost scored on a pretty tic-tac-toe but just slid it through Lundqvist's 5-hole and wide
