Orleans native Akeson puts the Flyers up 1-0 in his hometown. His first NHL game and first shot on goal.

Games on national television that matter to playoff seedings. The Canucks at Oilers HNIC game is a who cares game.

American and canadian viewers saw the Rangers win 4-0 over the Devils on NBC. Lundqvist with the shutout and the win makes the Rangers finish in 7th place or better.

The game is on HNIC, RDS, and NHL Network USA.
The Habs can still win the Northeast Division and finish
second or fourth in the east. The stinkin' Leafs can be
the fifth or sixth place team.

Game is on NBCSN and HNIC will join this game in progress after the
Canucks-Oilers game has finished. This could be a first round series, but
it depends on the result in the Blues game. These California teams will place
from fourth to sixth.

Irksome that the Carolina and Columbus broadcasts look (and sound) much better than Flames broadcasts when they probably get about 10 times less viewers
