Somehow it always comes back that Bouwmeester is eating up a lot of minutes and skates well.

Both Bouwmeester and Pietroangelo have been taking a beating and will have to pick up their energy tonight in LA.

From watching most of the series I think Bouw did outplay Leopold and Shattenkirk. Polak and Jackman are on dimensional players (although they both scored big goals). I wasnt as impressed with Pietrangelo as I was during the season I thought he struggled at times. But to me Piet and Bouw were there best pairing still.

In the regular season Pietrangelo did not have the other team huge forwards trying to hurt him every time he touched the puck. Not getting a bunch of protection from his partner.

Hate to see how far the play of Brodie and Wideman would fall off in a similar situation. Kind of feel Gio would play better.
