Geek reference, in Cribbage getting 19 means zero. So that could be a fit.

He feels ten years younger in age being out of the mess in Calgary.

If the Flames lose tonight and tomorrow, odds are that we will be drafting 4th or 5th overall. IF the Flames lose tonight and tomorrow, Nashville and Carolina and Edmonton all win at least 1 more game, AND Tampa wins out... we will be drafting 3rd I know it's a long shot... but one can hope.

Well Kris Russell wears #4 currently, not sure if he didnt want to give it up or if Bouw wanted something different.

They recalled Irving in order to have a third goalie available. With all of the extra skaters they called up it is useful to have that 3rd goalie in practices and it lets them give Kipper/MacDonald a day off once in awhile. Nothing more than that. Hartley even said they figured they'd get all of the callups other than Irving into some games. If Taylor was healthy he probably would have filled this role instead, but I doubt he would have played either.

Not sure if Leland Irving is still in the plan. Too bad they didn't even let him play his last swan song game.
This game is actually good for the young guys to play. The Blues is still fighting for #4 so they will not take the Flames easily. Part of me wants the kids to do well and try to win the game BUT part of me is hoping for the Flames to lose so they don't lose a good draft position. I just hope even if they lose tonight that they put up a good fight.

Anyone else think Cundari interviews similarly to Iggy? Act's classy and charismatic with reporters.

An interesting stat:
Gord Miller@GMillerTSN9m
Interesting note from an NHL GM: entering this season, only 3 teams had posted 8 straight 90 pt seasons. One of them is surprising.
Gord Miller@GMillerTSN3m
The first two, Det and SJ, are the only teams to make the playoffs every year from '04-'12. The third is Cgy which missed from '10-'12.

The Blues destroyed Colorado their last game so hopefully they can continue that destruction tonight.

I don't think St.Louis or Chicago will be taking the night off when they play the Flames.
Need to keep that competitive edge going into the playoffs. Always seems when teams take nights off at the end of the season that they come out very slow in the first round. Shortened season as well means no need to take nights off.
